camp bb part 1

hola~!!...quite long la i'm not updating....busy ckit..

never mind la...this time i want to share my camping experience...

yeah, camping as a commander is truly fun...we can do whatever to the pelatih..hihii..best gile la camping ade jawatan...

still, we did what the pelatih did. explorace with them, masuk jungle together with them, and many more..so, if they're tired, we're tired too....okeyh~ 

anyway, this camp is for students part 1, so we just do the basic camp..maklumlah., still a freshman,,can't be too harsh..

with komander anjang as the pengarah projek

we started our 1st xtvt around 5.30 p.m.

another tasks...we gave them all a list of commanders name and asked them to fulfill it with the instruments and the commanders signature...macam2 bende they need to do before we give our sign..they should be singing and much more..and they should fill it up until the last day of camp..

2nd xtvt at night

 before ending today's xtvt 

after the all pelatih go back to their hostels, the all commanders did a postmortem for a while. we discussed about 2morrow xtvt which is an explorace~!

about 12 o'clock i got to my room..thanks to kak zaidah coz send me to my hostels that night..naseb baik la akak naek moto~


*18 feb 2011*

_started our morning with exercises_

after breakfast, we started our 1st xtvt for today.. ya,,explorace!
unfortunately, this morning many pelatih got to went to thier ptptn.

_ramaikan??_

but,,it's okay..korang pg la ptptn tu..
we still continue our plan though we only had 3 group which was 6 person per group.
and now,, begin~!

_ sudoku @ foyer with raz, mat n liya _

_music note @ pondok bas with mia n aina_

_make up @ block d with alia n syamil_

_sing a song n change the shoe @ birda with shila n farid_

-me n dayat saje je tu,,dtg tengok2-

_create a music for us @ tasik with mali, shah,din n iffah_

yeay!completed our explorace xtvt..

 then, we rested for a while for solat jumaat and continued our xtvt at 2.30p.m.

after took a lunch that had prepared by cikgu,, we gave a time for the pelatih to discuss about thier malam kebudayaan. 

then, at 5p.m. we gave them a lesson, how to kawad.

we ate together after tired with kawad....(tired ke???)..sikit je tuh..

then, the pelatih went back to thier own hostel for take a shower and solat maghrib...

(mandi ke??kan x de air mase ni...haha)

malam yang ditunggu2 sudah tiba~

that's it:- malam kebudayaan.

 each groups have to make a performance..

2 dramas, an audition, a singing, and for sure dikir barat..that was thier choices.

overall,,okay la~good job guys..korang memang sporting.!

right after thier performances done,, komander amali terus gave a command..he asked all the pelatih to masuk baris.

and you know what?..die denda pelatih..ungkit semua kesalahan diorang..

but,, x de la teruk mane pon...

just,, raised your hand up in a moment~

then,, pelatih balik bilik..

ya,, the last day of the camp..

after panaskan badan, we played a game = made a longest line by using everything that you have now..

so,this was the results looked alike..

then, we told them to lie down at this medan ilmu

bukan ape,, just for suka-suki..

just in a minute, we'll go into the jungle .. so, we gave you time to rest now..

take  pictures b4 went into the jungle..

kodi and i had given a task as the crochet's commander group.

and this is our group.

before went into the jungle,,

we gathered in front of tdm's hostel...ha,,this is my hostel)~hehe

we started our jungle tracking after cmder anjang made a doa'.

we stopped at 1st checkpoint.

here, we're given a task to make a wooden chairs.

then, cikgu was asked to check the strength of the chair.

we proceeded our journey to 2nd checkpoint.


ya,, this was our 2nd checkpoint.

all pelatih were soaked in this kolam.
kesian korang,,sejuk~

ni plak,,the 3rd checkpoint..

they were asked to cook an instant mee.. 

ended our xtvt in the jungle~

then, we gathered for the last event : eat and presents

these were our winners..

although they were in 1st, 2nd , 3rd , 4th and 5th placed , but the all presents were same je..

as soon as got the present, they divided it to each other.

makan sudah. hadiah sudah. what's more everyone???ya,,take a picture la~huhu

finish sudah our 3 days and 2 nights camping...

hope that this camp could further strengthen our relationship..wokeyh~

at last,,i found something interesting to bo read.

..how a village got its name..

to get to Labis from Johor Bahru, we have to exited the North-South expressway at the Yong Peng Selatan toll plaza. There,, u will notice that a village called Kampung Temu Jodoh (loosely translated as a village where you will meet your future husband or wife) near Cha’ah.

Nice name for a village, right??=)

This Kampung Temu Jodoh is about 20km away from Yong Peng.

some locals said it is a new village which opened in early 1970s.

the land was cleared by young men from  a nearby village. These bachelors, aged between 18 and 24 work hard to clear the area and earned about rm60 a month to cover their food expenses.

They barely had enough let alone to go out or take the ladies on dinner dates. As such, many remained single and did not have girlfriends.

Then, a similar scheme was introduced with young women a year later, and it is said that this gave the men here a chance to meet up with the ladies.

You know what?...some 24 couples who met here held their akad nikah(marriage solemnisation) ceremony at the Segamat Mosque, followed by a mass reception ceremony for the villagers.

A huge pelamin or dais was built at the football field nearby to accommodate the couples.

The imam, who solemnised their akad nikah, had spontaneously referred to the village as Desa Temu Jodoh and that is how the village got its name….sweetkan the story..

As for Tenang, meaning serene and peaceful, got its name due to its calm atmosphere while others claim it was named after a man called Tok Tenang, who founded the village. tenang sangat ke???nk pegi la nnt..hehe

Meanwhile, Segamat derived its name from two Malay adjectives segar(refreshing) and amat(very).The locals claim that when the last Sultan of Malacca, Mahmud Shah, was fleeing the Portuguese in 1511, he stopped to rest on the banks of the Muar River. Sultan is said to have been refreshed after he washed his face with a sprinkling of the river water.

It is said that since the Sultan found the river water very refreshing, he decided to name the place as Segar Amat. However it was later shortened to Segamat.

Finally, the town Labis derived it’s name from river terrapins, which are called labi-labi in Malay.

The name was given by early 20^th-century British officers who came to survey the village in Segamat district. When the officers asked for the name of these animals, the villagers answered “labi-labi”.

The officers then referred to them as “labis” in the plural form, and so, the settlement was named Labis… 

Huhu,, that is the story…thanks to the reporter bcoz wrote such an interesting article..this kind of information is a good knowledge for us to know better about our places.
